Who we are:
Danielle Gallagher and Michelle C. Vachris played and coached lacrosse at the college level.
Danielle’s knowledge and love for lacrosse is unmatched. She was a two-time First Team All-American at William & Mary, she has coached at the college level (University of Notre Dame, Colorado College), she has won High School State Championships with Manhasset High School as a player and as a head coach, and she was the founder, President and Director of Liberty Lacrosse, and she is the Director of Black Diamond Lacrosse. Danielle was a member of four World Cup teams, three of which resulted in World Cup Championships for Team USA. She was inducted into the National US Lacrosse Hall of Fame, Long Island Lacrosse Metropolitan Hall of Fame, Nassau County Athletics Hall of Fame, College of William & Mary Hall of Fame, and Manhasset High Hall of Fame.
Michelle was an outstanding collegiate goalkeeper in field hockey and lacrosse earning All-American Honors in both sports. On the lacrosse field at The University of Virginia, Michelle was an NCAA Champion, Two-Time National Goalkeeper of The Year, and set university records for saves in a career and saves in a season. She captained both the field hockey and lacrosse teams in her final seasons and lead the 1996 Virginia Field Hockey Team to the NCAA Quarterfinals. Before starting a legal career that spanned twenty-five years, Michelle was an assistant lacrosse coach at Yale University.
